BCPS Calendar
Broward County Public Schools is excited to announce the launch of a new BCPS Calendar of Public Meetings and Events on the District’s website (www.browardschools.com/bcpscalendar).
The BCPS Calendar lists public meetings and events throughout the District. In addition, the calendar includes the regular school year calendar and School Board meetings and workshops calendar.
Get involved! Attending meetings and events is a great way to learn more about Broward County Public Schools. The goal of the BCPS Calendar is to inform parents and community members of District-level meetings and events, which are open the public. Each meeting and event notice provides date, time, location, contact person and relevant additional information. Our school will still maintain a calendar of our events, meetings, activities and happenings.
Meetings and events are continually added to the online BCPS Calendar. We encourage you to check regularly for the most up-to-date calendar information.
No Child Left Behind/School Public Accountability Report (NCLB/SPAR)
The No Child Left Behind federal legislation and Florida statute require that schools provide parents an annual school status report at the beginning of each school year. The Florida Department of Education has produced a No Child Left Behind/School Public Accountability Report for each school containing all the required No Child Left Behind indicators, including the indicators for Annual Measurable Objectives (AMOs). The Florida Department of Education has recently posted the NCLB/SPARs online. Click here to view this report.
